This is a list of massive projects funded by MHRD (Government of India), which are powered by IIT Bombay and affiliated to our club.
- Spoken Tutorials - An initiative of National Mission on Education through ICT, Government of India, to promote IT literacy through Open Source Software. It is led by Prof. Kannan Moudgalya of the Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. It is also hosted on YouTube.
- FOSSEE - FOSSEE (Free and Open Software in Education) project promotes the use of FOSS tools to improve the quality of education in our country. They aim to reduce dependency on proprietary software in educational institutions. The active co-principal investigators of the FOSSEE project are Prof. Prabhu Ramachandran (AE), Prof. Kannan Moudgalya (ChE), Prof. Madhu Belur (EE), Prof. Shivasubramanian Gopalakrishnan (ME), Prof. Siddhartha Gosh (CE), Prof. Ashutosh Mahajan (IEOR), Prof. Kumar Appaiah (EE), Prof. P. Sunthar (ChE), Prof. N. K. Khosla (MSME), Prof. Supratik Chakraborty (CSE) and Prof. Varsha Apte (CSE), all from IIT Bombay.
